Smells and Propelants... or I just might be crazy
I freely admit that I don't normally like or use hand lotion. They usually leave my hands greasy, not to mention the whole thing where I react badly to artifical scents. (Its actually kind of a problem... last week I got sick in lab from the chemicals my students were using. I have no tolorance for nail polish, either.) But, my hands have been kind of chapped lately. Its either from all the time I've been spending in the lab, the weather, or what I've been eating. If I'm completely honest, its probably a combination of all of them. I think N has my heavy duty hand cream, and I'm not about to ask for it back. I've been kind of a bad roommate lately (the working/sleeping all the time thing). So, I got Burt's Bees Hand Salve. The stuff smells AMAZING! And, the scent doesn't make me sick. Its a little oily, but hopefully it will cure my dry skin. And, it smells like Lavender with a little bit of rosemary. Pretty much a summer garden. I'm really pleased (if you can't tell). The satisfaction is increased by not having to heave 3 labs this week (Wednesday 5pm got canceled...), only having 2 more weeks until I see AD, and my mother's admission on the phone tonight that she used to count down the weeks until she got to see my dad, back when they were dating.
